My friend ,it's not MGM studios......looks like they're not a lot of people working on this movie and the director does the interviews himself.That certainly explains why there's no update when he's travelling to meet the "insiders".....This week he was in France to film Freddy Lynxx ,Henri Paul and Marc Zermati and he has updated the facebook page and created the blog one day after leaving Paris...difficult to do faster unless you got an army of secretaries updating your websites while you're away.
BTW ,I'm not that sure that 32 000 bucks is a lot of money for such a project.... I have no idea about the cost of copyrights for music but I have some about the price of flights ,hotels ,car renting ,etc .....and I hope for them that they've found more money than what has been collected through Indiegogo otherwise it will turn out as a short film.

I really hope they can find some material that isn't on youtube. In some early youtube clips from J.Thunders there's some footage that nobody has ever shown fotage from since then. Booth backstage footage and some footage from Johnny on the cross. Sadly tho, those clips are only a few sec each.

As they seem to be doing quite a lot of interviews hopefully some of the footage not used for the actual documentary narrative will be available as ‘extras‘ on the DVD when it comes out.

A limited edition with extras is already scheduled as a perk for a 50 bucks donation...........and the main movie will be longer than what Danny Garcia thought at the beginning....finally over than the 90 minutes previously announced.

That makes sense, as the people who are donating are definitely hardcore fans and would want it. I wouldn't be surprised if the "theatrical release" still runs at about 1.5 hours.

Susanne was interviewed when the filmmaker visited Stockholm, I've been told. Stevie Klasson was interviewed as well.

I can't wait for this to be released on DVD!
I hope the project is going well,there's a lot of footage of John about and I'd bet 20% is unseen,yet.
Hope it equals,or beats Kowalski's efforts,that sucker has full colour footage of the Mudd Club gig-yeah,'Stations Of The Cross'...Just my all time favorite album of JT's.
I asked him if he'd ever release it and got no reply...

Im pretty shure that this gonna be a excellent and serious documentary Im really looking forward to this movie.

Release sheduled for this summer postponed to this winter.. the rumour you heard is correct. No precise date to provide until now.
