| (image c/o White Trash Soul) This is a very cool and rare single that comes with an excellent picture sleeve. The 'Dead Or Alive' tune was previously only available on this single but can now be heard on the 'So Alone' reissue. 'Downtown' is the same as what is heard on the original 'So Alone'. Side A - Dead Or Alive Side B - Downtown Musicians: * Johnny Thunders - guitar, vocals * Steve Nicol - drums * Paul Gray - bass Format: 7" Country: UK Year of Release: 1978 Label: Real Records ARE1 Misc: picture sleeve in matte finish and glossy finish (rare) Matrix Info: D/T/K/L/A/M/F on side A & B | |

| On the copy I just received the word "JONEZ" is inscribed in the run-out groove in tiny letters, about half the size of the matrix #. Anyone else have that? There is also "D/T/K/L/A/M/F" inscribed in the groove on both sides. | |

| Yes, on my copy as well.
Eddie and the Hot Rods play Blackpool Rebellion this year, but I guess Steve Nicol and Paul Gray will not join? | |

| These words are inscribed in the matrixes so they can be found every copy of the record. | |

| Well, yes of course. But this is an easy way of separeting original first pressings from later ones. A 1 and B1 often follows with A 2& B2, espacially on more succesfull lps. | |
